With today’s ever advancing world, the automotive industry continues to flourish as more people buy more automobiles to move faster in everyday life. As economics say, when there’s demand, there should be supply, and it seems auto manufacturers are only too happy to produce great cars and performance parts with the aim of gaining more loyal customers and topping the latest product feature of the other company. Truly, the overall competition can only benefit both the industry and the consumers. But despite the constant ingenuity of top automakers, there’s one brand that leads and continues to stand apart from the rest because of its brilliance: Honda.

There’s no question that Honda vehicles are already legends in the automotive scene. A Japanese engine manufacturer and engineering corporation, Honda is most notable for its automobiles and motorcycles and is the undisputed leader in the manufacture of motorcycles since the 1970′s. Building more than 14 million internal combustion engines each year, Honda is also the largest engine-maker in the world. Quite a feat, considering its founder, Socihiro Honda, started out as a manufacturer of piston rings in 1937. Years later, he became a sub-contractor for Toyota and began to manufacture other parts. After World War 2, he established the Honda Technical Research Institute in Hamamatsu, Japan, which became the Honda Motor Company, Ltd. two years later. The rest, as they say, is history.
